When you put a huge amount of people from cultures all over the world you are bound to find drama, and differences. We want you to realize that we have all encountered different experiences and they will vary WILDLY from duty station to duty station, and even from unit to unit. Not every group in the military is going to be a fit for you and that is okay. Not everything is going to be smooth sailing. It's really important to realize that kids are “resilient and strong” but they have very valid concerns, and emotions and that there is so much importance in validating them and accepting them where they are.
