My wife had gone into the gift shop to buy some goggles for my kids after the park opned, their eyes were burning from so much chlorine(which I appreciate to a degree to hopefully keep infections and bacteria to a minimum) The stores credit card machine did not work or they didn't have one as per the employee. So wrong to the fact that the line of people up the staircase in bathing suites and their belongings reached and backed up two floors and the lobby, for about an hour. The posted hours for the waterpark on the printed provided schedule was incorrect, closing time was wrong, we got out at the posted hour come to find out it was open an hour later than posted, and the opening the next morning was wrong as well. Security was called a large gathering took place and from what I gathered the man was allowed to stay at the property as we saw him later that evening.Not a safe feeling. A Small Child had locked himself into the bathroom as a safe haven from their "Parents," fighting like animals he was so scared, there was pushing and physical contact between these two as well. Come to find out it slamming of doors, extreme profanity and fighting was taking place between a man and women, in that room. The first evening we were there a large commotion across the hall way in another room broke out, it was noticed by my 8yr old daughter and some other children that were in the hallway. Paper plates? Glasses? something anything? The staff response here was inappropriate in any customer service situation not just this one. The room had plenty of space had nice kitchen area, however a few foam cups and not a single other kitchen amenity was sad. When we entered the room we had found that not to be true, when front desk was asked the response "Online is usually wrong, and we didn't know what we were booking and it was our fault," Granted we are not there to play PlayStation the whole time, but booking a kids suite and paying the extra money with many kids to enjoy a birthday party a few days sounded fun.

Our group booked a large suite on the third Floor, online the room description stated a Play Station system was in the room ready to be used as well as a TV in the kids bunk area. Even way past check in time people were still waiting, and being told rooms were not ready at all and check back later with no compensation or adjustments to their stay. First issue with this stay was the over 1 hour wait just to check in at the front desk, in the numerous times we have been there I've never seen this go on.
When we usually visit, the water park is empty( good luck I guess), the rooms are clean and ready, the staff is helpful, the caliber of people are relaxed and enjoying the amenities. This time however was a real test of the staff and how things really run at busy times. We travel often and take advantage of mid week rates and special offers with our kids etc. I will start off saying I have been to this property many times, in fact 3 times this year alone and have not had any problems or issues. I Rated one star because I want to make sure management reads this and responds appropriately as they did to others on here.
